Large Item Clean Up Day - May 30, 2026 - Rain or Shine

Old Furniture, Household Items, Most Appliances, and Residential Construction & Demolition Materials will be accepted

Fees - Please Have Exact Change

Small Car or SUV -- $30.00

Pick-Up or Trailer Load -- $55.00 each

Larger Loads - - Priced Accordingly

MATERIALS NOT ACCEPTED

Leaves & Brush, Household Hazardous Waste, Refrigerators and/or Freezers,

Propane Tanks, Air Conditioners, Paint/Paint Cans and Tires

NO CURBSIDE PICK UP

There will be NO curbside pick-up. Participants must make their own arrangements to have the discarded items transported to Mill Point Park ( old Arctic Gardens site).

BBQ AT MILL POINT PARK (ARCTIC GARDENS) There will be FREE soft drinks and BBQ' d hot dogs served at Mill Point Park ( old Arctic Gardens site) for residents of Deseronto f om 11 :30 am - 1 :00 pm Members of Town Council will be there to greet and serve you!

** Please Note: Entrance to Mill Point Park (old Arctic Gardens site) is done at your own risk. The Town of Deseronto assu111es no liability.

Yard Sale & Free-Cycle Day - May 23, 2026

Mark your Calendars for a Day of Shopping and Funl

Residential & business sidewalk/yard sales throughout Deseronto all happening on the same day!

If you do not want to have a yard sale, but want to get rid of some items - put the items out to the street with a "Free" sign on them. If they are not picked up by 2:00 pm that day, you must take your items off of the street and dispose of them another way.

The Town will advertise the event If you would like to have a yard sale/free-cycle event, simply put the items out the day of the event. There is no need to register your sale with the Town Hall.

We will not be producing any maps.

Spring Brush & Leaf Curbside Pick-Up

The Public Works Department will be performing a curbside spring clean-up of leaves and brush, starting Monday May 111h, 2026 until Thursday May 14th, 2026.

All material must be placed to the curbside no later than Sunday May I0, 2026, as the Town staff will only be collecting in each area once.

THIS IS FOR BRUSH & LEAVES ONLY; NO OTHER MATERIALS WILL BE PICKED UP.

Please note that this service is intended for general yard waste clean-up only and does not apply to tree removal.

LEAVES ARE TO BE PLACED IN PAPER BAGS ONLY.

Temporary Office Closure

Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday December 16, 2025 for Emergency Management Training and Information Technology changeover.

Normal office hours will resume on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
