CULTURE AND RECREATION - EVENT BASED TOURISM STRATEGY REPORT

The Town of Deseronto has taken a step forward in planning for its future by investing in the development of an Event-Based Tourism Strategy. The Town of Deseronto has a desire to see tourism become an economic driver and a contributor to an enhanced quality of life for its residents.

Therefore, early in 2020, it determined that an event-based tourism strategy could help the Town transition to tourism, culture, and event-based community. To assist with this process, the Town retained the services OF BRAIN TRUST in May 2020 to facilitate stakeholder meetings to inform the creation of the strategy.
