The Deseronto Culture and Recreation Committee acts in an advisory capacity to Council regarding matters pertaining to park, sport, recreation and culture.
The Committee meets on a regular basis every other month September to June. The committee holds more meetings as required in order to plan special events, such as the Santa Claus Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony, Family Day and Canada Day Celebrations each year.
The Committee is made up of community volunteers, Council members and Town staff.
