What an exciting day for Deseronto Public School students! 👧👦
Students toured the Community Centre, checked out the fitness centre and arena, and even played a few rounds of pickleball in the multipurpose hall 🏓🏋️♂️
They also visited Town Hall, Public Works, and the Water Plant for a behind-the-scenes look at how our town operates — answering phones in the office, enjoying United Pizza with the Mayor and staff, and spending an hour in a Q&A session with Mayor Johnston.
To top it off, students took part in a daytime Council meeting, presenting thoughtful ideas on how to improve youth opportunities and community life in Deseronto. 💡👏
