These positions enable students across the province to gain valuable work experience and develop skills which are transferable to the labour market.

Deseronto Transit - supporting your participation in Family Day!

Deseronto Transit is offering free transit to and from the Deseronto Community Recreation Centre on Family Day! The bus will start departing every 45 minutes from the Deseronto Community Recreation Centre at 06:45 am. We offer accessible transportation for those in need. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Capacity is driver managed. Service is local to the Town of Deseronto only.

All passengers can access the bus at any street corner. Please just wave down the driver, they are prepped to watch for you! There are only three set stops, identified by the green dot on the map.

On January 28, 2020, Mayor Dan Johnston and Warden Rick Phillips cut the ribbon on the new Medical Clinic recently built in Deseronto.  This building will provide a place for the newly recruited doctors to serve our community.

Deseronto Wins the 2019 OPWA Project of the Year Award for Historical Restoration

On behalf of the Ontario Public Works Association, I am pleased to advise that the Deseronto Water Treatment Plant Upgrades project has been selected to receive the 2019 OPWA Project of the Year Award in the Historical Restoration / Preservation, $2 Million - $10 Million category.

The Award was officially presented to the Town of Deseronto at the OPWA Annual Conference & Awards Luncheon, which took place on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Convention Centre.
